I don’t know how people, face the slow and problematic PC and how they can work on them. I just irritate from it, that is frustrating. If you’re working from home, sometimes you face this situation in front of yours. When you attend the Zoom calls or meetings then your PC is stuck and not responding. In that way what to do to manage your PC. Even this is a very critical situation, we don’t know that time what to do right there.

But today’s we made this article for non-IT guys, to handle these situations and solve out. We share the method with you this is very simple and quick applying settings. Even you can bookmark this page on your browser or you can share it with your friends if they suffering from a slow PC.

How to Improve PC Performace with these methods

1. Unuseful Apps Running in Background

If you don’t know what application is installed on your PC. So how you manage them. It is very simple, you follow the simple guide to uninstall these apps.

You can’t know which apps are running in the background. Then open the Task Manager, Ctrl+Shift+Ese. You have seen the application use the more CPU, RAM, or Disk, in general, Chrome use more Memory so you can close those apps if you can’t use that current time when you have to need then access Chrome. Back to the point if you open the unuseful apps then right-click on that app here you’ll see the End task option click on them to end the task. It is just a simple /one-trick to improve your PC performance.

2. Check for Virus and Remove

While your PC having the virus and malware then the chances are high your PC is still slow. Even you can open the single or various problematic activity. Maybe you PC getting change the all file extension and all the extensions are same like if you having the JPGE or PNG file. The virus also changes their extension and damages the files. While you can not open the file.

Here we suggest to you if you are a beginner use the antivirus to protect your system. In my case, I personally use the Kaspersky Total Security antivirus to protect my PC from viruses.

We all know in that time security is very important and still, we manage the security antivirus.

If your system suffers from a virus then we can say it to this all-doing virus. So here we suggest using any antivirus protection to use in you PC to be safe from virus.

3. Slow When using the browser

When you use the Chrome browser then they suck all the memory from the PC. When we can use the Chrome browser then you can close the tab. Also, we share the best Chrome tips and tricks.

Because Google Chrome uses a lot more RAM in the background. You can easily check the RAM usage in the Task Manager while pressing the Ctrl+Shift+Ese. Open the Task Manager and there you see a lot more stuff like CPU, Memory, GPU, or Network usage.

You can see that Chrome using more RAM as compares to other apps. Well, you don’t need to open the Chrome then just close the app to save the RAM and improve the PC performance.

4. Pause Syncing

Your PC settings let you choose where files will be saved by default. You can save files on your PC or to OneDrive by default and sync files between the two locations. The lets you get to your files from any devices that can connect to the internet, and it helps makes sure your files are backed up in case your PC is ever damaged or lost. However, files must sync between your PC and OneDrive, and syncing can slow down your PC. You can pause OneDrive syncing temporarily and see if it helps improve your PC performance.

- On the taskbar, look for OneDrive near the notification area.

- Select OneDrive > More … > Pause syncing. And then choose how long you want to pause syncing your files.

- Restart your PC and see if your performance issues have improved with syncing paused.

- You can uninstall the OneDrive if you can’t use the OneDrive on your PC.

Or you can be using another sync app like Google Drive then you might pause the sync option by opening the Google Drive. On the tasks bar Google Drive icon click on them or when it open go to settings icon or here are the pause option to pause the syncing. It improves the PC performance.

5. Latest Update of Windows

We saw many of these people that can not update Windows. Then we face various types of error and having many more problems because of Windows update.

They can not update to the latest version then they having issues. Once you are up-to-date with your Windows you clearly see the difference between PC performance.

6. Restart PC

This method is the simplest method ever. When we use the PC some cache files and memory are conflicts and when you try to open your favorite app then they can’t perform that.

When you restart your PC again try to launch the app you see this will work. Even before we share this trick when you can perform it on your PC. When restarting your PC and again try to run. It will be work.

Disable Unnecessary Startup Program

You don’t know which app is perform in the background and how you can disable all that apps.

Basically, when you turn on your PC, instant your PC automatically turn on the startup apps and run in the background. Many programs are designed to start automatically when Windows does. You don’t realize they’re running, but they’ll open quickly when you go to use them. This is helpful for programs you use a lot, but not for programs you don’t use often because it increases the time it takes Windows to start.

For that open the task manager- Ctrl+Shift+Ese. Go on the Start-up option to see the Start-up apps. You can see the image we attached here-

As you can we stop all these apps but two apps are enabled, other than all these are disabled.

Here we have another way to stop the Startup apps Go to the search bar and type Startup Apps you have a list of the startup apps select those apps which you want to disable.

7. Adjust the Appearance and Performance of Windows

Windows 10 includes many visual effects and transitions. It takes more time to perform a simple so we can simply remove that effect or transaction. This looks great, but they can also use additional system resources and can slow down your PC. This is especially true if you have a PC with a smaller amount of memory(RAM).

Disable Appearance or Performance

- Type on the Windows search bar Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows.

- Click on there to see the new pop-up window opened.

- On the Visual Effects tab, select Adjust for performance and apply.

This will change your system fonts and do itself work faster. This will improve your PC performance, if your PC still runs slowly, continue to the next method.

8. Upgrade With SSD

9. Upgrade the RAM

10. Free up Space

When you full your PC’s all the drives then we surly say to you have clear some space to run the PC.

Especially for the C drive if the Windows C drive is completely full the make sure it has some space to install the software easily. When you getting the C drive with red color that means your C drive is full you need to clear some software and file. Please clear carefully, don’t delete the Windows file you you delete the Windows file like Program files, System32 or Windows folder then you get stuck with the big problem.

Be careful to remove the file, you just have to clean the desktop, document, download, music, or pictures folders these folders you can file from C drive > User > You PC User name. To locate your desktop, document, or download.
